Do’s

• Be extremely careful around all parade vehicles.
• Invest in a comfortable pair of shoes.
• Drink responsibly. Remember, there's no such thing as too much water.
• Stay dehydrated.
• Protect your skin. 
  
• Use Chap Stick or Lip Balm.
• Invest in a good pair of shades.
• Move around in groups as much as possible. Strength (and safety) in numbers people.
• Indulge in the many meal offerings available on both days. You need the energy to last the whole time.
• Take as many pictures as you like to capture the memories.
• Please try on your costume in advance to make sure it fits and comfortable.

Don’ts

• Do not drink and drive. Ensure you have a designated driver in your crew before you hit the road.
• Do not walk with any unnecessary valuables or personal accessories.
• Do not accept drinks from strangers.
• Do not mix medication with alcohol.
• Do not overreact if someone bumps into you or steps on you. Remember we're all just trying to have a good time, so keep calm and carry on.
